Tried to sell my mobile device to this company they offered £150 which I thought fair enough couple of light scratches on the screen apart from that device in perfect condition. Musicmagpie receive device new offer of £30 said there is detection of burn on the screen hahaha not a chance stay well clear just wanting everything for nothing! Ps only reason they got 1 star is because you can`t give them no stars

I sold my iPad Pro in perfect condition for £300. They emailed me saying it is not genuine so they will be recycling it and not paying me... I literally bought it from the Apple store. They are refusing to send it back to me, what an absolute joke. How is this allowed, they have just robbed me of £300. If I'd have known I would of sold it on eBay, disgusting

Originally bought a Nintendo Switch console for £250 which arrived fine but after about a month the left dualcon controller stopped working so I asked under the warranty if it could be repaired of replaced. MM sent me their own return label which I used to send back the console. Royal Mail messed up and lost the parcel. I contacted MM and wasn’t replied to for weeks I had to go through social media just to get any sort of help. MM told me to make a claim with Royal Mail so I did but only got £100 back for a £250 console, when I contacted MM as the label they provided obviously didn’t cover the full insurance so I lost out on £150 and MM refused to compensate for the rest of my money lost. Told me to make a claim with Royal Mail then when I’ve explained that I did but didn’t get fully compensated, they changed their mind and said they were the ones that needed to claim to get the money back. Clearly making it up as you go along and clearly don’t care about customer satisfaction and were making any excuse not to compensate me. Never had customer service like it. Will never use this company again.
I wouldn't bother buying there "refurbished" phones, I spent £800 on the S21 plus and after a month of use it let water in while filming in light rain, they told me it's accidental damage but cant explain how it got in on an IP68 rated phone and won't repair, replace or refund me so buyer beware, non of there phones are fit for purpose with there so called refurbishment/pristine condition sales pitch.

Excellent cd purchases. First class experience in all respects.

Use Magpie a lot and service is always good and items arrive as delivery states or earlier. Lots of good choice of CDs and DVDs at cheap prices

This app will not load onto my PC - WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have just purchased a hand held barcode scanner for £25 to use with this app but I have wasted my money as this is now useless because I cannot download the Music Magpie app to my PC.

I sold a device to Music Magpie but they claimed a piece was missing and I was offered a much lower price. I know the item was in tact when I sent it. Did not find Customer Services helpful in resolving this. Won’t be using them again!

Sent a phone in that was in complete working order without a scratch on it, one I had been using myself up until a brought a new one. Once Music magpie received the phone they dropped the offer price down from £60 to £18. I've declined the ‘offer' as I'd rather give the phone to a charity but am genuinely concerned if I'll even receive the same phone back.
Feels like a scam.

Received books but don't understand how a book with £1 sticker on it can be sold for almost £3

I was pleasantly surprised at the speed of the delivery. The general appearance of the CD is good. The tracks are good.

1 star is being polite
1 star is being polite. Sent an Apple Watch and there was a delay as I had to remotely remove the iCloud account. Since then though no payment has been offered and nothing received. Impossible to contact and all emails and complaints are now blatantly being ignored. Misleading advertising regarding selling items. At present I have basically handed over an Apple Watch to a large company and said goodbye to it. Think very carefully before selling high value items. Since this review I have sent 20 to 30 emails to all of the addresses I can find and rarely get a reply. If I do it is a generic email saying they will escalate it. They simply will not mention or discuss payment. They have had the item 8 days now and for the life of me I cannot get the money out of them. My only option now is to go to trading standards, but it would seem that with regards to my item I have to face facts that they have it and will not be paying for it. Probably one of the happy 5 star customers on another site has already bought it.

This is my second attempt at purchasing a phone through music magpie, i thought not a chance it could be terrible twice, the first time must have been a freak accident. How wrong i was. I ordered this phone on the 9th April, and due to the awful non delivery last time, i decided to pay for express next day delivery. Today being the 17th April, and still no phone. I contacted music magpie and demanded a full refund to take my business elsewhere, and they said they had issues sending it out but would refund my delivery, and get it to me within 3 days. Well 3 days is here and still no phone, and no refund at all. Despite several emails requesting a refund (all ignored with not even a courtesy reply).
Customer service does not exist. How can a company ignore several customer emails? If i could give less than 1 star, i would. My daughter is back to school on Monday and now has no phone, after not receiving this one, and them refusing to refund my money to purchase one elsewhere.
Magpie by name, magpie by nature!
